Raphael20″ Farnell Bearcirca 1920’sFrom Petersfield Bear Museum
This is Raphael; a former resident at the Petersfield Bear Museum until it closed in 2008. Unfortunately I can’t find his picture in a book like some others I have recently listed but he definitely came from there and has a few stories to tell I’m sure.Raphael has certainly had many hugs in his time as he is almost completely bald. He has been professionally restored with all new felt pads and the Farnell webbed hand pad stitching recreated. He has card lined feet, boot button eyes (probably replacements) and a working squeaker. He is stuffed with wood wool and is still a very solid old boy although he does have a couple of inserts to his muzzle. He loves his red velvet artists cape which makes him feel stylish. Thanks for looking.
