Paulo is a gorgeous old mohair wool mix panda bear, with a zipped compartment in his back for pyjamas or nightie, dating to the 1930s. He is 14″ high and 22″ long with large glass eyes, and a black rexine nose (some damage) and stitched mouth. His pads are also made from this same black rexine type material. His head and legs are straw filled so that unlike most pyjama cases, once his tummy compartment is filled he is able to stand on all four legs on his own. I have see similar panda bears with Alpha Farnell labels from this period, however Paulo doesnt appear to have any labels. Apaet from his poorly nose, he has no significant areas of wear to speak of, is fresh and clean smelling, and would make a lovely addition to any old bear collection.
