This lovely 1940s teddy bear was made by the British company Pedigree and is made in a lovely gold coloured mohair. Unusually for a Pedigree teddy bear, he has a rather large hump – please see photos.
He is stuffed with wood wool and kapok stuffing and is fully jointed – joints are a little loose – particularly right leg. Also head has been stitched to body by previous owner.
He has his original fawn coloured velveteen pads – no holes or tears.
He has large original orange/black glass eyes and original black stitched mouth – I think nose has been replaced in the past – now has a velvet nose which makes him very cute!!
He measures approximately 22″ in height.
