VINTAGE JOINTED ‘CHUNKY’ TEDDY BEARWITH AMBER AND BLACK GLASS EYES.MOVABLE DISC JOINTED HEAD, ARMS AND LEGS,COATED COTTON PADS ( COATING MOSTLY WORN AWAY )STITCHED BLACK NOSE AND MOUTH.NO GROWLER.HE NEEDS A NEW LEFT EAR AS THE ORIGINAL HAS BEEN DAMAGED, THE FUR LOOKS AND FEELS LIKE MOHAIR ?? AND IS WEARING PATCHY IN SOME AREAS,ALSO THE FUR IS DISCOLOURED.NO MAKERS LABEL.THERE ARE AGE RELATED MARKS AND WEAR.APART FROM HIS EAR HIS OVERALL CONDITION IS GOOD FOR HIS AGE.MEASURES APPROX 24 INCHES

BORIS GRIZZLY BEAR HANDMADE BY TULIP BEARS ANTIQUE STYLE WITH TAG ARTIST BEAR

Boris, a lovely bear handmade and designed by Maureen Murrish. Collectors bear, not suitable for children. A cute chunky bear, in an antique style. Made within the last 20 years. Length approx. 11 inches, height approx. 7 inches. Jointed at the neck and limbs. He is the more unusual ‘grizzly’ type of bear, standing on all four legs. He wears a red ribbon with a large rusty bell. Dark eyes and sweet little ears! Original card Tulip Bears tag attached along with cloth label sewn into seam. His fur is long and luxurious, although I don’t know what it is made of. The original price is written inside the tag, it says ’50’. A lovely bear who I have had on display in my smoke free home.I post within the UK only. Thank you for looking.
