This is Oscar – a bear who has seen a lot of life and suffered as a result. He is 16 inches tall and fully jointed – he is completely straw stuffed. He has had patches applied as can be seen and his past owner told me has completely exposed straw beneath these ; he also has a good few stitched repairs. His fabric has darkened a lot in places and he still retains some mohair – most to his hairy old legs! He has a lovely face as can be seen – I am sure if he did not have such a lovely face he would have been given up on years ago. I have found Oscar his lovely old outfit and it makes a big difference to him – he looks just lovely in it – and I am hoping someone will take pity on this old chap and give him a loving home. In spite of all his war wounds he is a good strong sturdy bear but before buying please be aware he is not perfect and only suitable if you like the tattier old teds with oodles of character xxx
Please be aware I am a lover of the tattier old teds with oodles of character so bear this mind before buying – no bear will be perfect – far from it – but I guarantee they are all perfectly adorable. I try to list every bear accurately – if there is anything I forget I can only apologise – I try to put plenty of photos up so please take a good look as these form part of the description. I happily post overseas but anything over 40 in value HAS to be tracked hence overseas postage may seem a lot – if postage is less than quoted I will happily refund the difference.
