A very German Hermann Spielwaren bear. Circa 1940-50’s with straw filled head & body. It has original stitched nose, amber glass eyes, pinky golden mohair, long arms, small feet with replacement felt pads. It has a working growler in its belly and just sounds like a small bear. 19 inches from head to toe. I think it is more likely to be a Hermann-Spielwaren than Gebruder-Hermann due to the smaller feet. The reference books I am using are 20 years old and the value of the bear was 350 at the time. Please check all photos carefully for the condition of the bear. Grab yourself a bargain.
