This is Oliver, a funny little oran utan monkey, probably of German origins, dating to the 1950s . He is 12″ tall with painted back, glass eyes and a straw filled, felt face. His arms and legs are jointed and all his joints work well. They are also poseable in the middle as they have wire running through them. His mohair coverage is exceptionally good, and he wears a vintage knitted pullover and pants set which he had when he first came to me a few years ago. He has a large hole to his chin and a hole to his right hand through which his bendy metal onner can be seen but In all he is pretty robust. He has the most adorable, wide eyed expression. He is clean and fresh smelling, he displays beautifully, and he would make a lovely addition to any old bear collection.
