This is Edward. He is a hansom bear but has some issues. An old teddy bear dating from around 1940s/1950s ? not certain of the date. I am no teddy bear expert. He has a pointed nose and he has moveable arms, and legs and head. There are no makers marks.
Edward has a black sewn thread nose . He has only one eye as one is missing and he is also missing one ear. Both arms and both legs can be moved – and the head moves.
He is quite heavy. I think he is straw filled. The outer covering feels like a plush velvet fabric. He is a bit grubby and needs a clean. He has a squeak when you turn him upside down.
He stands 24 inches tall.
The bear will be packed carefully in a box to ensure he arrives in as described condition. I maybe able to get a better postage price for customers in Europe please message me for an exact price.
