Old Vintage Antique Teddy Bear. Vintage Pedigree Panda Growler Bear.Felix is a vintage Pedigree growler teddy bear who stands at 18 inches tall. He dates from the 1950s/ 60s and his growler mechanism is in working order. It just needs a gentle tap, and rock him to and fro towards you. As noted in the condition report he is ; In vintage love worn condition with good mohair plush coverage for his age. He has visible seams, some age related slight discolouration as may be expected. Some patchy areas of plush. Growler mechanism is in working order, but occasionally needs encouragement.Felix is soft filled probably with kapok with wood wool in his snout and a mixture of wood wool and kapok in his body. His paws are white plush with some visible patchy areas, there is thinning also to his tummy area, top of left eye, top of ears and lower back. He has black and amber plastic eyes and stitched features and he proudly bears the “Pedigree” blue and white label on his back, though only the front half is present. Felix is five way jointed with good joint connections.Please study the photos as they also form part of the description.All these features are fairly typical of an old vintage bear with a story to tell…I post Monday – Friday as promptly as possible.
