Old vintage antique teddy bear. Vintage Gwentoy teddy bear.MIcky is a characterful 12 inch vintage teddy bear made by the English company Gwentoy . His tag dates him to being born somewhere in the 1960s to early 70s as far as I can tell. Mickey is in good vintage condition for his age, having 5 secure joints ,and original stitched features, along with his original black and amber plastic eyes. He has good mohair coverage, there being some typical balding to his seams and some patchy areas. Micky has brown velvet type paw pads, all in good order. He is soft stuffed, and has had a few stitches applied to his left arm seam and a small repair to his left underarm joint. All in all he is in very good shape for an old English chap. He also had a squeaker in his tummy, but sadly this no longer works. Micky does show signs of age and lovewear, and is not intended to be used as a toy as he does not have the safety features associated with modern teddy bears.
