Old Vintage Antique Teddy Bear. Vintage Chiltern Teddy Bear.Frank is a vintage Chiltern Ting-a-Ling teddy bear who stands at 14 inches tall. He dates from the 1950s, and his chime mechanism is in good working order. As noted in the condition report he is ; in vintage love worn condition with sparse mohair coverage. Has visible seams, age related marks, repaired lower paws with one card missing. Small holes under arms .Ting a ling mechanism is in good working order.Frank is filled with wood wool in his head and a mixture of wood wool and kapok in his body. His rather worn paws are brown velvet and will need attention, as one of his carded feet has not remained and one is visible … Unless like me you prefer the characterful look of him as he is. Frank is still able to stand if positioned correctly. His glass eyes and stitched features seem to be original, along with three stitched claws on each paw. Frank is five way jointed with good joint connections, though his armpit areas have small stains and the disc joints are just visible.Please study the photos as they form part of the description.All these features are fairly typical of an old vintage bear with a story to tell… Despite his overall shabby condition he holds himself together well, like any old English chap.
