Old Vintage Antique Teddy Bear. Vintage Chad Valley Teddy Bear.Oscar is a vintage Chad Valley teddy bear who stands at 15inches tall. He has retained his original blue and white label, but this is faded and worn.Oscar is filled with wood wool in his head and a nice soft filling to his body. He has an old squeaker in his chest, but sadly this no longer works.His rather worn paws are brown rexine type material and they are cracked in places. He has his original plastic amber and black eyes and stitched features which seem to be original, Oscar is five way jointed with good joint connections. His plush was once golden, this has faded somewhat over time but is still visible around his joints and ears. He has a fairly good plush coverage but it is patchy in places with visible seams.All these features are fairly typical of an old vintage bear with a story to tell… Rodney holds himself together well, like any old English chap.
