1940’s Pedigree golden mohair teddy bear with bells in his ears.
Standing at 15″ tall this golden mohair teddy bear was made by Pedigree circa 1940-1950 and is in good condition with all his original features intact. He is quite heavy for his size with a firm kapok stuffing and ted is five ways jointed with all his limbs turning easily so he can be nicely posed.
Ted has a good coverage of his golden mohair with slight overall thinning and a few bare small areas which do not detract
from his charm and character and I would estimate he has retained a good 80%+ coverage overall. All of his original features are intact, including his amber and black glass eyes and his black cotton thread nose and mouth stitching. His velveteen pads are very slightly surface worn with one tiny hole in one paw but otherwise in very good condition with no damages or repairs. He no longer has his label but he has all the hallmarks of a mid century Pedigree bear, particularly the bells in both ears.
