~~ Old Chiltern Spaniel Dog – with label.
Very cute old dog made by Chiltern, England c1950. He is nice and weighty stuffed with woodwool and kapok, and retains his original safety eyes and nose.
He measures 7.5inches tall in a seated position, is covered in a Sandy tone art silk, and retains his label to his tum (tricky to photograph – clearer in real life – “Chiltern Hygenic Toys, made in England).
He’s a very endearing little poppet, and I have a feeling he’s been a ladies best friend, and sat through many a conversation! He’s now been left behind so now needs a new home to settle into.
