Old Antique Vintage Deans Teddy BearBart is a dear old vintage antique teddy bear who is about 12 inches tall, and 9 inches seated. He is a charming little fellow who was made between 1957-61 by the well know British company Deans.He has amber and black plastic lock-in safety eyes (which have some surface scratches) and a hand stitched nose and mouth. His muzzle is straw filled. Bart is solidly filled throughout his head and body with a soft filling. He is fully jointed with good joint connections and has a fairly good coverage of honey blonde plush .The plush has naturally parted over the years (probably from lots of cuddles )and therefore his seams and some stitch work are visible.His paws are made of a soft brown, brushed cotton type material and are in generally good order. He has an old squeaker in his tummy, but sadly his squeaking days are over, as this no longer works. All in all he is a lovely old chap.Bart is no longer suitable as a toy.
