Here we have a very sweet old Chad Valley bear who has had just one owner his entire life (hence he can be dated to the 40’s) & is now feeling a bit lost with no place to call home – he is hoping the New Year will mark a new start for him :-) He is one for the lovers of less than perfect teds with oodles of character. He is 16 inches tall & fully jointed & a mix of woodwool & kapok stuffed. His rexine pads are worn – two have been heavily stitched in an attempt to repair them ; he also has some stitching to his back seam and a little under his chin. He is floppy but this adds to his character & he retains patchy areas of mohair – he is about 30% covered. His eyes are old replacements & he has large ears & a slightly squidgy muzzle. He is a lovely old chap full of character looking for his second home – please take a good look at the pictures as he is not perfect – he will come in his vintage top with 1940’s medallion xxx
Please be aware I am a lover of the tattier old teds with oodles of character so bear this mind before buying – no bear will be perfect – far from it – but I guarantee they are all perfectly adorable. I try to list every bear accurately – if there is anything I forget I can only apologise – I try to put plenty of photos up so please take a good look as these form part of the description. I happily post overseas but anything over 40 in value HAS to be tracked hence overseas postage may seem a lot – if postage is less than quoted I will happily refund the difference.
