I believe Mr Snow to be an English bear; he has characteristics of a Chiltern but I couldn’t say for sure. He is very soft and clean and had some restoration in the past; his ears have a slightly different coloured backing so probably one was split to replace a missing one. He has glass eyes which are good, possibly a re-stitched mouth and replaced foot pads; I think his other pads are original. He is such a beautiful soft plush which has virtually no wear at all and a delightful character. He measures 21″ in height and was probably made in the early 1950s.
