You are invited to bid on this gorgeous vintage cuddly little Snoopy dog toy, dating to 1968. He is of course Charlie Brown’s pet beagle from the Charles M Schultz comic strip and cartoon ‘Peanuts’. He is made of white cotton material with floppy black ears, black eyes and eyebrows, stitched black mouth, and hard black plastic nose. He is wearing his original removable clothing – blue jeans and a long-sleeved red t-shirt with his name printed in black on the front. His arms and legs flex at the shoulder and hip. He is firmly stuffed. He still has his original label stitched into his side, confirming him as produced for the United Feature Syndicate, and dating him to 1968. There is also the original label attached to his jersey. He is a lovely little Peanuts character doll.He measures almost 7.5″ long. He is in generally good condition with very slight soiling.A lovely vintage toy and a fine addition to your cuddly toy, Snoopy or Peanuts collection.
