This teddy is a lovely chap – he has come into my possession so I have done some research on him. He is 24 inches tall with golden plush fur and is in excellent condition. He seems to be stuffed with wool or similar with all jointed limbs and a head that will swivel. He has a pronounced snout made of different fur from rest of head. His golden plush fur is in great condition and he looks as if he has never been played with. Teddy’s growler works well still, he has orange and black plastic eyes and felt/velvet pads with no stitching. His paws are hooked. He has no label but my research shows that he closely resembles Chad Valley examples of that era.
