Very loved but lovely 1920’s British teddy bear.
This 1920’s British teddy bear stands at 15″ tall and is in loved condition but with lots of charm and character.
He is completely wood wool stuffed and is five ways jointed, which are a bit loose but they still just hold their postion so he can be nicely posed with a little support. He is balding as you can see from the photos,with roughly 25% mohair
remaining and he is quite grubby and could do with a surface clean to fluff and clean him up a bit although he does
not smell bad, just old with the slightly sweet smell of antique wood wool stuffing.
His rexine pads are original and although there are holes in his left paw and foot, they are not leaking any stuffing. His glass eyes and nose and mouth stitching are also original and with a little bit of TLC he could be restored to
some of his former glory and he would make a nice addition to any hug of bears.
