A cute pair of miniature Schuco teddies c.1950s, called Bogart & Bacall. They’re completely original and made of tinplate covered in mohair. They each measure 6 cms (2.5″) tall, and are fully-jointed with nodding heads. They have tiny metal-painted eyes, and a black-stitched nose and mouth. Bogart’s fur is a bright gold colour, and Bacall’s is a peachy-beige (not as pink as in my photos).
These delightful little bears are wearing their tiny heart necklaces, and travel with their heart-shaped pillow, decorated with two pink felt hearts. Romance is definitely in the air for these sweethearts, and they’re looking forward to celebrating St.Valentine’s Day. Thanks for looking.
