Here’s a lovable old shaggy mohair dog by Einco c.1915. He has the signature glass googly-eyes, along with a nonplussed expression, and is all original. Stuffed with woodwool, his head swivels and he measures 24 cms (9.5″) high in his fixed sitting position.
His nose and mouth are embroidered in black thread, and he has a very faint red airbrushed tongue. His tail and legs are internally wired, and this is jutting through his left paw. Resembling a Pekinese, doggy’s muzzle is composed of smooth brown mohair and short bristly gold under his chin. His long ears are white mohair, with tan brushed-cotton linings, and his tail is white too, though now mostly bald.
Doggy has lots of yellow-gold mohair, with most loss to the top of his head, which is lovely and wispy! There’s also some loss of fur to his ears, and a non-working squeaker in his hind legs. Overall, he’s a very engaging character, and wears his tatty old school cap with a brown velvet neck ribbon hung with a bell. Thanks for looking.
TRACKED POSTAGE TO EUROPE IS 13 GBP, AND REST OF WORLD 16 GBP.
