Amazing gold mohair jointed teddy bear.    I believe he is Chiltern but no labels

I bought this bear for 520 fifteen years ago on the closure of a teddy bear museum in the Cotswolds, UK.     He has very minimal fur loss on the hump and back of head but to be honest he is pretty immaculate.  He is solidly filled with woodshavings with amber glass eyes and fully jointed.  He has fawn coloured felt pads and hand stitching and in the feet is card or wood behind the felt.

He sits very well and is a very majestic striking and friendly looking bear!   To be honest the photos do not do him justice;  he is certainly the most imposing bear I have seen for many years of collecting teddy bears and although he is not Steiff I consider is of similar appeal in character and presence.

Any questions please ask and many thanks for looking.

Postage cost allows for signed for and insurance but not for international postage – if you are from outside of the UK and the successful buyer you will need to meet the cost of the postage (to include insurance) as this is a valuable teddy bear
