You are bidding on a very nice old gent, in the form of a 23 inch tall vintage 1950’s 1960’s Teddy Bear.His coat is genuine golden mohair which is in extremely good, clean and original order. He has had a small operation on his hip at some time, the scar being visible and can be seen in one of the pictures, plus a small white mark to the joint on the back of his neck. There is a degree of wear/patina to his original rexine pads. He has distinctive orange and black eyes, original stitched nose and mouth, properly jointed arms legs and head. Have done a little research I believe him to be a ‘British Bear’ and have attached an uplift from a 2002 ‘Christies’ catalogue showing an illustration of a very similar bear.( PLEASE NOTE THE OTHER BEARS IN THE PICTURE ARE NOT INCLUDED.)
