Huge Chad Valley golden mohair teddy bear. Circa 1940’s-50’s.
This huge Chad Valley teddy bear dates to circa 1940’s -50’s and stands at a whopping 27″ tall.
He is in loved but sturdy condition and still has a fair coverage of his golden mohair with overall thinning
and some bare areas, but I would estimate he has retained approximately 50-60% coverage overall.
He no longer has any labels but he is unmistakeably a post war Chad Valley bear.
He is missing one ear and his eyes have been replaced with buttons and his rexine paw pads are
surface rubbed but still intact with no damage apart from one small split on his left foot pad.
He is five ways jointed and they are all working smoothly so he can be nicely posed and despite
his faults, he is a very handsome chap and would make a fine addition to any hug of bears.
