A rather lovely 24″ “Cheeky Bear” with bells in his ears made by the Merrythought Company in the early 1960’s. This one is in an attractive vanilla coloured fur with light brown felt pads and a velvet muzzle. He is Kapok filled and has all his original nose, claws and mouth stitching. His large amber eyes are of glass. His pads and paws have suffered from age and possibly moths! Some sympathetic repairs have been done in keeping with the original felt which still has his original label. Coming from a smoke free home, he looks and smells gorgeous!Only being sold as my wife is thinning out her collection. I have put on a realistic starting price for such a scarce bear, so no excuse for not putting on a bid!
