Lovely Chad Valley Magna teddy bear made in England in the 1930s. Height approx. 23 inches. Nice condition for a bear of almost ninety! Overall he retains much of his long thick golden mohair fur, though there are some sparser places and the occasional bald patch! The fur is not quite as golden on his head. Non working growler. Original label with the red writing on it is still on his foot.
Amber and black glass eyes. Original horizontal nose stitching. He has 3 claws on his left paw and 2 on his right. There are 3 claws on his right foot and 2 on his left. There is an old repair to his right paw pad.
This bear has been in my collection for many years but I have to do a bit of downsizing.
A big cuddly chap who gives wonderful hugs!
