From our late gran’s personal toy collection.
Large collection / lot of old and vintage toys.
Includes an old, well-loved, play-worn, teddy bear with glass eyes and moving limbs (well-loved, with wear and age marks to his fur), a nice small-size, German, Berlin souvenir dark-brown bear with glass eyes and moving limbs, a Paddington Bear teddy with his hat and coat on, a floppy beige vintage sleepy, bear with open mouth and unusual “rattle paws” that make a rattling noise when you shake the bear (I have been told this bear is a Steiff “Steiff Sleepy Bear” but please view the photos and decide for yourself as he has not got any tags or labels), he has a sewn nose and soft beige fur (very good quality). There is also an unusual little old hard-bodied bear with moving limbs and tiny glass eyes that has an old-fashioned metal fastening-pin on his back so he can be used as a brooch if you want to pin him to your clothing (please see photo).
There is a further box of old and vintage small dolls plus a variety of vintage dolls parts (arms, legs, heads) and includes an old Pedigree doll body.
The soft bodied boy doll in vintage white night-gown requires some restoration and the pretty girl doll in white dress and blue hat requires some restoration to the back of her head (please see photos).
One of the dolls comes with a metal stand and there is also various clothing, shoes etc., a bag of wooden / furry gonk things, some old bird shaped whistles, a dolls rocking cradle/bed and further box of vintage / old dolls including a Barbie with some extra clothing (her white lace dress needs repair) and a bundle of lovely old postcards / photos of children with their toys.
The dolls chair the teddy bears are sitting in in the first and second photo is not part of this lot but if you want us to include the chair in the sale please let us know.
Selling the toys as seen here and in original as found condition so please view the photos and ask any questions you may have about a particular item before bidding. They are original vintage toys collected over the years by our late gran and will show signs of play, use and age. If you require more details about a particular toy please ask me for more information before bidding.
