Granpops is a fabulous old 1930’s Merrythought monkey based on the wonderful cartoon character by Lawson Woods. He is 18 inches tall, fully jointed & a mix of woodwool & kapok stuffed. He is in overall remarkable condition for his years – he retains a lovely coverage of mohair & most importantly his felt pads & face have survived well – this is pretty unusual & he looks little played with. He will come as pictured in his old grandad cardigan & is looking for somewhere to rest his head & have a good kip xxx
Please be aware I am a lover of the tattier old teds with oodles of character so bear this mind before buying – no bear will be perfect – far from it – but I guarantee they are all perfectly adorable. I try to list every bear accurately – if there is anything I forget I can only apologise – I try to put plenty of photos up so please take a good look as these form part of the description. I happily post overseas but anything over 40 in value HAS to be tracked hence overseas postage m a lot – if postage is less than quoted I will happily refund the difference.
