A delightful, rare cinnamon mohair Bing teddy made with padless paws c.1908. Gertie is 23 cs (9″) tall, including ears, and stuffed with woodwool. She has original, tiny black glass eyes and a re-sewn nose and mouth. Her footpads are old cloth replacements, neatly done. Gertie’s joints work fine, and she’s in stunning condition, having retained virtually all of her brightly-coloured fur. This little sweetheart is wearing a pretty cotton dress handsewn from vintage material, with a voile embroidered ‘shawl’. Thanks for looking.
