Gilbert is a beautiful old boy and a bit of a mystery bear. He is obviously very old and has some war wounds but he is a wonderful-looking bear with a classical and traditional look. He has a lovely rounded face with pronounced snout and big brown glass eyes. He is stuffed with straw throughout and has some original wool felt remaining on his paw pads which include repairs. He is five-way jointed and has a good covering of lovely light golden mohair on his back and endearing tufts all over. His growler is silent now and he has a few worn patches on his face. Gilbert I s an old ted that shows his age but is very handsome and very cuddly and he will come to you clean and from a smoke-free home.
