Really nice quality and unusual old toy duck produced by Baki – a German rival of Steiff. Mohair is in nice condition without any signs of balding, there’s no holes in the actual duck or repairs to report either – but, her headscarf(glued onto her head – perhaps by a previous owner, and not Baki?) is very worn and holey. Maybe someone more experienced with repairs might be able to remove it without ‘harming’ her lovely mohair coat! I’ve never tried to remove it personally, looks like the glue underneath would leave a stain.
Measures just under 7 inches tall. Smoke free home.
