Adorable vintage Chad Valley teddy bear.Measuring 18″ from pads to tips of ears.In a rare fawn Alpaca wool.Dating circa 1950 with the earlier blue label.Five way jointed and all joints turning and are firm.Filled with a mixture of wood wool and kapok.In op squeaker to tummy.Teddy has most of his five claw stitches to his feet pads with a couple missing.Five stitched claws to one pad hand pad and four to the other.Carded feet with original felt pads which have torn in places to reveal the cotton lining.Interestingly retains two blue labels.Overall teddy is in good condition with exception to the tears in his pads and also a patch of plush at the back of the head which is slightly faded and flat ( not serious) Also a little patch which has worn behind the ear.
