This is such a cute bear. I think what makes him look soadorable is the way a small wad of stuffing has shifted in his face, making itlook slightly swollen and lopsided.Since he no longer has his maker’s label and his features arecommon to many brands, I cannot positively attribute him to any onemanufacturer but he is definitely English. He has orange and black plasticeyes, a stitched nose and mouth and brown plush paw pads. Fully jointed, hemeasures approximately 16 inches high, is made from a sparse, bright goldenmohair, and has a working tilt growler.Condition-wise, he is doing quite well but he does have someimperfections. These include patches of mohair loss – most noticeably on hisface around his nose and between his eyes. His paw pads do show signs of wearbut are holding together pretty well, and his left eye is a little scratched. Then there is the matter of his ‘swollen face’! However, he is clean, moth-freeand otherwise in good condition and will make a characterful addition to anycollection.
