Dickory | 1940’s Chiltern Bear – Old Antique English Teddy
This is Dickory. He dates to the 1940’s and was made in England by Chiltern. Luckily Dickory has been taken on adventures so does have some wear, however retains his original glass eyes, facial stitching , all claws, and three of his pads are in great condition. He measures around 16 inches tall, is fully jointed and stuffed with woodwool.
As with many Chilterns he does have a bit of a wibbly head, however it’s securely in place, and does sit well (see photos). Also his snuggly own scarf a previously owner gave him reduces his cheeky head wibbles ;-) (Dickory isn’t so keen as he likes to work his charm on the ladies).
He’s a lovely old ted, and every hug needs a Chiltern, Dickory is just hoping someone picks him! He can be seen with his friend Minstrel who’s also looking for a special home.
