A cute panda made by Chiltern, I believe he dates from around 1930 to 1940.
I’m not sure if his glass eyes are original, but the rest of him certainly is. Linen pads with four claw stitches on each. Original nose and mouth stitching. Some thinning to his mohair, especially at the front and also the back of his head, good covering of mohair on his back and limbs. His head is a little wobbly, his limbs are nice and tight, he is five-way jointed. Head is firmly stuffed with woodwool and the rest of him with kapok. He measures 13″ from the top of his head to his heels.
This lovely little chap is from a smoke and pet free home.
