Gorgeous little early teddy bear in need of TLC. This little chap measures approx 11 inches. I’m not sure what make he is , but whatever he is, he has bags of character with oodles of charm, and despite his faults , is simply adorable! He is 5 way jointed, with all joints working well, though with a wobbly head.
He has his original boot button eyes but has lost his nose and mouth stitching. Also as you can see he has mohair loss.
His main problem though is that all his felt pads need renewing , as the inner straw filling (wood wool ) is exposed. His little antique crocheted shoes have been lovingly made for him to disguise the damage to his feet!
He has a very pronounced hump, and despite his age he is fairly clean, with no unpleasant odours , and comes from a non smoking home.
I’m sure with a bit of TLC he could be a fabulous little bear.
