This cute Chiltern teddy called ‘Cuddles’ is unjointed and measures 36 cms (14″) tall. He has a blue printed sideseam label c.1960s. It’s torn and freying, but still readable. Cuddles has lock-in amber safety eyes and a black plastic nose. Apparently, in the 1960s, Chiltern was also making toy dogs in their factory, and decided to use the noses on some of their bears!
Stuffed with kapok, Cuddles’ pads are velveteen and in good condition. I think his mouth has been re-sewn. His inset muzzle is made of a different type of plush to his yellow-gold mohair. Overall, he’s in lovely condition and is very lovable and cuddly. He comes wearing his knitted pants and decorative neck ribbon. The money box is a prop only, and not included in the listing.
