This is Wee Willie, a sweet little old 1950s bear made by the reputable English bear maker Chiltern, for their Hugmee design range. He is 13″ tall with glass eyes, plastic nose and a stitched mouth and rexine paw and foot pads. Unusually for a Chiltern Hugmee, he is made from synthetic plush rather than mohair. He wears a sweet little tartan hoodie.
He has no rips or tears to his fabric, retaining about 95% of his thinning mohair. His only flaw is that his left arm is fixed and doesn’t move, but this doesn’t affect how nicely he displays. He has a non working growler in his tummy and is in clean and pleasant smelling condition. He has a sweet, inquisitive look to him and he would make a delightful addition to any old bear, or specifically Chiltern, collection. His four brothers, who also feature in the photos, are available in separate listings.
