CHARMING CIRCA EARLY 1900’S
CRAFTSMAN MADE ANTIQUE DOLLS BED
This delightful antique dolls bed is of English origin and dates from the early 1900’s.
It is made of wood (to the best of my knowledge it is pine) and is almost certainly craftsman made.The bed measures:26½ inches in length
13½ inches in width
Height of headboard is 25 inches
Height of footboard is 20½ inches
(To give a clearer indication of size, I have included a photo of the bed with an American Character Doll Co. ‘Little Love’ Doll who is very chubbily built and approximately 22 inches in height).There is a small piece missing from one of the decorative corner pieces of the bed legs immediately under its base, which is not glaringly obvious and does not detract greatly from this delightful antique dolls bed. The bed has light overall wear commensurate with age but is structurally sturdy and sound with no signs of woodworm (past or present!)Please take the time to look at the listing photographs if you are considering buying the bed, as they show it’s condition clearly and accurately, and form an important part of the description.THIS LITTLE ANTIQUE BED IS A CHARMING DISPLAY ACCESSORY FOR ANTIQUE DOLLS OR BEARS.
