Steiff Teddy Rose 1924
This beautiful bear is a Steiff Teddy Rose she is extremely rare measuring just 10″. Produced by Steiff in this size in 1924 only along with the blue/red Harlekin bear and teddy yellow. These lovely bears were only produced for one year only in five sizes and very limited numbers. Very few are known to have survived. The Rose and Yellow bears were then re-introduced in 1925 in three different sizes. Rose has the sweetest face with around 60% of her now faded pink mohair. As you can see from the pictures it’s still evident in her joints. she no longer has her button.

Wonderful antique Steiff apricot teddy bear 1905

Antique Steiff Teddy Bear

Beautiful Ollie is a wonderful antique Steiff teddy bear dating to 1905 measuring approx. 15.5″ with around 85% of his lovely apricot mohair remaining. Ollie has a beautiful if somewhat cheeky expression and is in totally original condition with card lined feet he is stuffed predominately with kapok so he’s a very light and cuddly old chap, he no longer has his button which would have been a blank button however there is no doubt of his heritage. These lovely early Steiff bears are getting harder and harder to find especially the Apricot mohair bears which were produced for a very short time.

OLD VINTAGE ANTIQUE 1930’s CHAD VALLEY SPRING LEG DOG SOFT TOY TEDDY BEAR

This wondeful Chad Valley spring leg dog measures 19″ long from nose to tail
and is 15″ tall dating to the 1930’s with shaggy silvery white mohair and apart from
a couple of minor repairs he is in very good original condition. These spring legged
animals were originally made by I.S.A toys from about 1915 but they were bought
by Chad Valley in 1922 who continued to make similar toys through to the 1930’s.

He is unjointed and completely wood wool stuffed and has strong springs inside his
legs so he can be bounced along in a jumping motion. He has a very good coverage
of his shaggy white mohair with just slight thinning and a couple of small bare areas
but I would estimate he has approximately 85% plush remaining overall. Two of his
felt pads are original and the other two have been neatly recovered with a leatherette
material. His eyes have also been replaced in the past with plastic buttons but he is in
otherwise original condition with all his other features intact and a red and white
Chad Valley Hygenic toys label dating him to circa 1930.

He is quite a rare find, particularly in the form of a (Sheepdog?) dog as the elephants
were more common and he would make a wonderful addition to any collection.

Being offered with a very reasonable ‘Buy it Now’ price
