Stanley is a darling, large old mohair Chiltern bear dating to the 1920s or 1930s. He is 18″ tall with clear backed glass eyes and a neat hand stitched nose with the typical upstitchong at each end typical of these early Chiltern bears. He has one side of his mouth stitching missing. His foot pads are in very poor condition and his paw pads also need some repair work. The top of his left leg, at the back, needs a repair as his joint disc is exposed. He is straw filled and has a loud working growler in his tummy. With a little restoration he could be back to his former glory. He is clean and fresh smelling and would make a very sweet addition to any old bear collection.

Fab Pair Old 7″ Steiff Micki and Mecki, ArmTag, Button and Chest Tag, VGC!

Meet Micki and Mecki, a wonderful vintage pair of Steiff hedgehogs with all of their original IDs intact including yellow arm tag and button (on a bangle around the wrist) and card chest tag.
They are each 7″ ” tall with rubber faces bodies and arms. Their legs and feet are internally wired so that they can stand up well for display. They are in excellent condition for their age APART from both characters have lost some paint from the front of their shoes, and the lady, Micki, has two dark marks to her apron (see pics)
Mecki’s EAN number is 8717.70 and Micki’s is 8717.80
Usually these little fellows show deterioration to their rubber faces and their clothing is not always intact, nor their IDs, so it is unusual to find a pair in such good shape. They would make a very interesting addition to any old bear or Steiff animal collection. See my other listings for more Steiff animals and characters.

Rita, Lovely Old Mohair Steiff Hen, Ear Tag Button and Chest Tag, Exc Cond!

This is Rita, a wonderful vintage mohair Steiff hen with her card chest tag intact.
She is 9″ tall with glass eyes, straw filled with a mohair body and felt features. Her feet are internally wired so that she can stand up well for display.
She is in excellent clean, unworn and fresh smelling condition with no fading whatsoever to his felt or mohair, but is missing her button. She would make a very interesting addition to any old bear or Steiff animal collection. See her Steiff mate Rocky the Rooster in my other listings.
