After a little research, I believe that this is quite an old vintage Chiltern teddy bear.
His glass eyes are replacements. His velvet paws have some stitching at the wrist, also across his mouth.
His nose is shaved & almost bare.
His mohair coverage is strange in that it is full & fluffy at the front of his body, great coverage on his legs, but very bare at the back of his head and back of his body, even some stitching to close small tears.
He must have been cuddled from the back loads!!!!!
I can’t feel a growler.
His claws on paws & feet are present & are original as far as I am aware.
There is a feint pencil mark on the base of one of his carded pads.
The tops of his arms are short of stuffing & a little floppy.
All joints work well.
