Meet Billy, an appealing old mohair bear dating to around the late 1940s, early 1950s. He is 20″ tall with plastic non safety eyes and a stitched nose and the remains of a wonky grin. His blonde coloured mohair is flattened, a little grubby and worn in parts but overall he has reasonable coverage. His pads have been replaced in an unusual fashion with wool, but rather sympathetically done as they look good and do their job. He is clean and fresh smelling and would make a fine addition to any old bear collection.
