This listing is for an Antique / Vintage Merrythought Mohair Bear.
He really is rather sweet, and he’s a big old boy, measuring in at 21″ tall.
He is made using straight dense golden mohair.
He has very unusual eyes. They are a silvery pink plastic. I think this dates him to the 1950’s maybe?
He has velveteen paw pads/
He has a hand sewn light brown perle nose.
He is filled with soft filling, maybe cotton or kapok?
I paid 95 for him over 20 years ago.
