Belle – BIG English 1940s Teddy Bear ~ Old Antique ~ Farnell? Lefray? & dress
This is Belle! She’s a lovely big fluffy English Ted, likely made by Lefray or Farnell, dating to the 1940’s. She’s stands 28inches tall, is fully jointed and stuffed with kapok and woodwool. Other than the fact that her (rexine) paws have been attened to at some point by a previous owner – which is a little rustic, and also have some wear to the seam she’s in lovely condition! She is covered in really fluffy warm blonde mohair, retains her original beautiful large glass eyes, stitched facial features and working growler!Belle would make a wonderful addition to any hug and is a delightful ted to cuddle (just ask my daughter who’s seen in the photographs having a squidge). Belle likes to mess around in the garden, and is now searching for a new friend to have cuddles with .. x
