BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE CIRCA 1920’S
SCHUCO MONKEY 3″ IN EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION
This beautiful little antique monkey made by Schuco (Germany) dates from the 1920’s and measures just 3 inches in height.
He is made of metal covered by chocolate brown mohair which retains 100% coverage, and perfect unfaded original colour. His mohair is beautifully soft and clean, and in flawless ‘factory fresh’ condition. He is five way jointed (at head and limbs) with all joints in excellent condition. His (original) painted metal face retains perfect unfaded colour with no surface rubs or scuffs to mar his beauty! His original painted facial features retain beautifully fresh and vibrant colouring. His original beige felt hands and feet are in 100% complete, spotlessly clean and unfaded. He has no playwear and no age related wear and tear. He is in excellent condition and still looks factory fresh . . . although it is almost a century since he left the factory.
I cannot fault him in any way, he is in excellent condition and would be an asset to any collection. If you require any more photographs or details please don’t hesitate to ask . . .
