Florence c1906 Steiff Teddy bear
Meet Florence a wonderful and totally original early cream Steiff teddy bear c1906 measuring 16″ with all of her original felt pads. One has two small holes (please see picture) and her feet are card lined which is a feature of very early Steiff bears along with mainly kapok stuffing giving her a real squidgy feel. She has around 75% of her lovely cream mohair remaining with some thinning to one side of her face and the back of her legs. She is softly stuffed with kapok and has a side squeaker that no longer squeaks. Florence no longer has her button but there is no doubt about her heritage. She is a really beautiful example of a Steiff teddy at it’s best.
