A really beautiful baby’s Christening gown from the 20’s/30’s era. It is 35 inches long by 9 inches underarm to underarm with reams of fabric – I have shown it on my portly 20 inch bear to give an idea of size. It is more cream rather than the white of the pictures & has a wonderful hem with original ribbon detail. It is in good, strong condition but there are areas of damage – a few holes to the hem & the dress – I have pictured the worst – & a few repairs including a repair to the bodice. It is not perfect but it really is lovely & looks wonderful displayed on an old bear or doll xxx
