Introducing Angus the war teddy bear.I’m Angus, I once belonged to Lucy Ann. Lucy Ann and I travelled from London to Wales when we were evacuated during the war.My luggage label became detached and Lucy Ann accidentally dropped me when we got off the train. A kind gentleman with a hat and a whistle picked me up. He put me in a room which said lost property on the door. I have been sat on a shelf ever since hoping that Lucy Ann would come back for me……
Angus is 16″ tall and made to look like an old cherish bear. He has been designed and aged to look old. Angus is five way cotter pin jointed, he is weighted and filled with steel shots, plastic pellets and fibre. I have given him vintage Victorian metal shoe buttons eyes.To complete him he wear a Antique dog collar with bell. As with all my creations he is one of a kind, comes with his sewn in tag & signature bell. A hang tag shows how date of creation. I hope he makes you smile.
